A regular on the Arts Alive bill, the Speak The Mind sessions combine spoken word, beat poetry and organic music. This year workshops are being held on 10 September at the Kopano Centre in Alexandra, prior to the two shows in Newtown.

Hot Seat Confessions is the story of four young contemporary, urban women living in the city. They are sassy, soulful and ? oh so single! This humorous and honest narrative takes this audience on an intricate journey into their personal stories through a series of poetic monologues. Directed by Lara Foot Newton.
