Sage Has.son

Sage Has.son was born in Kaduna and attended Capital School, Kaduna.
His father was an officer in the army working in the army P.R office and also editing the army magazine soon after the Nigerian Civil War. His mother was trained as a secretary and has served first as a teacher and currently an administrator in the Polytechnic Barkin Ladi Plateau State.
Sage originally named Samuel Sani Hassan, started to tell stories at the age of 8 and proceeded to write fiction by 13. He delved into journalism by writing poetry and short stories when he was 16 for a local paper in Jos with the likes of Helon Habila; soon after he was contributing entertainment stories.
He attended St Joseph's College Vom, Plateau state,
Gov't Sec Sch, Minna, Niger State,
Gov't College, Zawan, Plateau State and the
University of Jos.
Before embarking on the spoken word journey, he worked for 5 years with Ovation magazine.
He has performed on various platforms and events including his 1st major outing at the maiden edition of Hip Hop World Awards in 2006, Big Brother Nigeria, and numerous brand poems and performances for top companies like mtn, celtel, unilever, diageo, British council and numerous performances in some of the hottest and best venues in Lagos.
Without say, the sage's poetry is highly appreciated and his performances craved by a wide section of the discerning community of Nigerians.
He has collaborated with the likes of Eldee xtra large of rhythm 93.7 fm, Mode nine, Tosin Martins, Cobhams Asuquo and more expected.
His dream is to be Africa's most respected performance poet and a gift to the world and to be ascertained as Nigeria's poet laureate and to tour the world with his poetry.
He has began work on his follow up album and widening his scope and reach by including filmmaking in his pursuit and is also currently penning an allegorical account of life, love, sex and community.
